By now you’ve seen reviews and have probably lost yout shit to Kendrick Lamar’s Damn. Anything K.dot does is pretty much the biggest news in the game on whatever day that it happens. The album is no different. Having lived with it for three days and taken it in, it’s still growing on us and as per usual, we’ll continue to find all the hidden messages Kendrick hides in his music. Sure fire listen and high up on the albums we’ve heard this year.
Making the recommendation too, ELHAE with “Aura II”. The rapper/singer did a great job on “All Have Fallen” last year and Aura I the year before so if artistic development is anything to go by, this should be a good a good listen!
In the curious corner, throw in Quentin Miller with “Essentials, vol. 1”. As the man used in the Drake and Meek beef last year, and reportedly the man behind Drizzy’s flows/records, he should add some flavour to the week.
